| Thursday, September 23, 2004 Hurricane Ivan's Impact on Farmers PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Board of Directors of the Jamaica Livestock Association Limited at its meeting yesterday re-elected Dr. John Masterton as Chairman and Mr. Henry J. Rainford, Vice Chairman. The Directors discussed at length the impact of hurricane Ivan on the Livestock Industry and in particular small Broiler and Egg Producers who from all indications suffered significantly. Consideration was given to ways and means by which the JLA could help these farmers maintain their market share and earn an income while resuscitating their production facilities.
